I love going to weddings, and part of the fun for me is picking what to wear. I’ve mostly been to summer weddings, but I’ve got my first ever winter wedding this November and I have no idea where to start with picking an outfit. So I’ve been browsing the shops for a couple of options to try once I’ve been paid (is anyone else just completely skint this month?!) and thought I’d share a few dresses I’ve got my eye on.
Berry
Berry tones just scream winter to me and I LOVE the colour of this ASOS dress. It’s £65, which I don’t think is too bad for such a beautiful outfit because it doesn’t need much to go with it. I would pair this with some strappy black heels (these beauties are only £24 in the sale!) – to really pick out the black in the bodice detailing – and I’d probably throw on a fur coat over the top to bring a bit of pizzazz. Finished off with a gold smokey eye and this would be just perfect!
Velvet
Lace
Lace is so beautiful and such a classic style, I think it works any time of year. There are loads of beautiful autumn / winter dresses on the Coast website and I particularly love the look of this red lace number. I haven’t worn red for a long time because I always thought it didn’t go with red hair, but do you know what, I think I actually love the clash! I talked recently about red hair and pink and I can definitely feel a red hair and red post brewing.
Now I’ve just got to narrow down my choices and pick one! Stay tuned to see what I end up with…
