Too Faced – a brand I’ve heard loads about but never got my hands on before. All that changed with my recent trip to TK Maxx – a shop that is fast becoming my favourite place to pick up some make up bits from! I never used to like rummaging, but recently I’ve found some great bits and bobs from there – both clothing and make up. Of course you can never predict what you’re going to find in there, but I have a *very* long make up wish list, so there’s always something in there I want to try! Anyhoo, on to the good stuff. What did I get from Too Faced?
Soul Mates – Carrie & Big – Blushing Bronzer
This is just BEAUTIFUL! There were actually two sets in TK Maxx – Carrie & Big and Ross & Rachel – but I much preferred the peachy looking tones of Carrie & Big than the rose tones of Ross & Rachel.
The packaging is absolutely beautiful and the compact itself looks just like a Polly Pocket (remember them, 90s kids?!). The compact has a gorgeous, shimmering bronzer with a smaller, heart shaped blusher nestled inside. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how to separate out the two – or if I even need to – but I can’t wait to use these for that sun-kissed, summer glow. And just £10 from TK Maxx!
Colour Bomb Moisture Plumping Lip Tint – Never Enough Nude
I’ve really got into lip products recently. And while nothing will ever compare with my favourite nude – Estee Lauder’s Vanilla Truffle – this is a great, every day moisturising stick.
The packaging was a little scuffed, but for only £5 you can’t really complain! The colour is beautiful and the consistency is creamy yet light. The product tingles for five minutes or so just after you’ve put it on – which is supposedly the plumping product at work.
I must admit, my lips didn’t really look or feel any different, but I was impressed with the colour and the moisturiser. A definite new handbag essential!
So that was my first ever Too Faced product purchase. I’m really pleased with what I got, and for the bargain price of £15 for both too!

I’m loving the bronzer but must admit the lipstick isn’t great. It clings to the edges of my lips and not the centre if you know what I mean.
