The Perfect Pink Parka

December 12, 2017

MissPap Parka

Nevermind winter is coming. In the North East, winter is most definitely here. We’ve had snow, winds, ice and many days of minus temperatures. So it’s time to whip out the big coat.

Just check out this beauty from MissPap*, that’s new in my wardrobe this winter (£90, currently reduced to £81). Sure, I have a trusty black parka from Zara that goes with everything, but this coat takes the parka to a whole other level. SUPER fluffy, pink and a kind of bluey, silver grey, I just love it.

It’s the perfect length – just past my hips – and can be tightened and loosened around the waist as needed. The faux fur is also detachable along the zip, if you find it’s getting in your way. I love it with the fur on though, it saved me from wearing a scarf.

Can we also talk about this beautiful hood? Honestly it is so soft and warm and heavy, it doesn’t feel like it will come off in a hurry.

The one thing I will say about this coat (and MissPap in general) is that the sizes are small. I’m a 10-12 and I bought this coat in a medium (following the size guide online) and there’s no room for manoeuvre in it. I’m wearing a jumper underneath it, but not a particularly thick one. I don’t think I’d fit one in. On the whole, the clothes come up small and the size range is not huge, with many items only going up to a 12.

If you like my coat, why not check out the other colours from MissPap here – the cuffed versions look so cosy!

I was kindly gifted the coat, but all opinions about it are my own.

Pin now, read later!
