A Weekend Treat at Levoi Champagne Nail Bar

March 20, 2017

Levoi Nail Bar

Champagne and getting your nails done.  Sounds like the perfect combination, right?  Well it is!  And you can find them both at Levoi Champagne Nail Bar, on St. Mary’s Place in Newcastle.

Levoi Nail Bar is owned and run by experienced salon manager, Ann Walker.  Ann is a lovely lady, with a story or two to tell and a passion for top-notch customer service.  I was invited along to sample what Ann and her team at Levoi have to offer and I was not disappointed!

The salon is on St Mary’s Place, near Haymarket and opposite The Church of St Thomas.  Upon arrival, you are greeted with a glass of champagne, which is included in your treatment cost.  I was a little bit early for my appointment, so it gave me a bit of time to have a look around.

The nail bar is bigger than it looks from the entrance and has space for manicures, pedicures and waxing treatments.

The Treatments

Levoi Nail Bar

There are a range of treatments on offer at Levoi and all the options have fun names like The Hangover (a gel soak off, £12.50), The Chaser (a quick 30 minute manicure, £16) and The One For the Road (gel manicure or pedicure, £35).

I went for The One For the Road to keep my nails looking in mint condition for the next three weeks.  Choosing a colour wasn’t easy for someone as indecisive as me, but I went for Royaletini, a gorgeous shimmery deep navy.  I always think short nails suit deep, dark colours and I loved the colour on my nails.

Ann spent time prepping my nails – trimming my cuticles, shaping my nails – and advised me on some problems I’ve had with one of my nails flaking.  Then it was time for the base coat, colour, top coat, finish and finally a hand massage with Ann’s homemade olive oil and lavender mix.

The team at Levoi paid great attention to detail and made sure every nail looked fabulous.  They were friendly and chatty without getting distracted from the task in hand.  And if you really love the colour you’ve got, you can take home a bottle for yourself, along with all the base coats, top coats and oils.

Mother’s Day Deals

What better treat for yourself and your Mum than to head along to Levoi for a pampering experience?  They have a whole load of offers on, more of which you can see here on their Instagram page.  I’d recommend The One For the Road for both you and your Mum, for £65.

You can book online at www.levoinails.com or call the salon on 0191 230 5859.  They are also open late on Thursdays, ideal for getting that mani pedi in before the weekend!

Do you fancy getting your nails done?

The treatment at Levoi was provided to me free of charge, but all my opinions about it are my own.

Your nails look gorgeous. I’m going to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure for my upcoming holiday to cuba next month – i LOVE the idea of doing it with a glass of champagne in hand!
