Summer Shoe Wishlist

It is July!  Great British Summer Time.  And actually, the weather hasn’t been all that bad!  I wore a dress with my legs out for the first time in a long time yesterday.  It felt weird, but it felt good.  However, now I’ve relegated my Doc Martens to under the bed, waiting to come back out in autumn, I’ve been struggling to match my summer wardrobe up with some shoes.  I find myself reverting to my trusty Converse every time.  So I put together a little wishlist post with all the beautiful looking summer shoes I’m dying to get my hands on this year.

I’m absolutely loving what I’m seeing from ASOS, New Look and Jones the Bootmaker at the moment.  I’ve picked out three pairs from each brand that I’d love to incorporate into my summer wardrobe.

Summer Shoes Wishlist

I only discovered espadrilles last summer and have found them to be a total lifesaver.  They are comfy to just pull on and go and still protect your feet from dust if you are in a dry climate.  I love the anchor print on these Pull & Bear ones.

Black leather is a classic shoe staple and I am in LOVE with the caged lace up style (top left above) from Jones the Bootmaker.  They will go with anything and add a bit of edge to my summer dresses.  They also come in brown if that’s more up your street.

Pom poms are having a major moment and these cute flatties from New Look are ticking all the holiday boxes.  They will instantly perk up any plain outfit and will look perfect as you instagram your feet on the beach making everyone jealous!
