I love ankle boots! They are comfortable, practical, stylish, protect your feet, don’t require you to have painted your toe nails (most of the time) and go so nicely with skinny jeans (which is pretty much all I wear). I have sooooo many pairs that Andrew is starting to get cross. But there is a different boot needed for each occasion and he needs to understand that boots are more than just a shoe, they are a way of life.
Now if you combine my love (obsession) of ankle boots, cover them with stars and list them on ASOS then I cannot be held responsible for buying them. It’s just like they were made for me personally, I can’t help myself! But I managed to snap up these GORGEOUS Reward boots with 20% off and I am very glad I did.
At first I wasn’t sure about the rounded toe, it felt very 90’s. And not in a good way. I also wasn’t so sure about the little heel – a bit to high to be considered a flat boot and a bit too low to be considered a proper heel. I was worried they would be a Mumsy height. But once I had them on, they were comfy, the leather felt sturdy and the stars are all a slightly different silvery-bronze colour.
My one peeve with them so far is that the boot has creased at the front where my foot bends as I walk. Not only does this mean they dig in slightly as I take a step, but the leather has held the crease and made the front of the boot look a bit grey. You can kind of see that in the fifth picture down.
Has anyone else got the Reward boots and found the same thing? How have you styled them up? I’m excited to have a go. I’ll post an outfit post with them when I’ve got the courage!

I absolutely love these. They’re so much fun and would look great with a pair of denim jeans.

Yeah, I’m thinking some black skinnies? I also like them with my black suede skirt and tights!
