To round off the end of a wedding-focused week I thought I’d give a big Friday shout out to my favourite wedding blogs! There is a whole wealth of information on the internet to help you plan your wedding day, but I find real weddings the most inspirational. The brides that give you advice have been there and done it, they’re not being paid to push a certain product and they’re totally realistic – you see what’s achievable for your budget, your location and your style. So which are my favourite wedding blogs to keep checking back for some Pinterest inspiration?
In no particular order…
Love My Dress owner Anabelle has a really lovely, friendly style of writing. She features a huge range of information and regularly offers giveaways. The weddings she features are mostly vintage-inspired and a little bit rustic, but always with a healthy dose of glamour and sophistication. The photography and layout is always stunning and there are great links out to where you can find what you see online. A must read with tonnes of content.
I came across this one quite recently on Pinterest. Owner Phoebe seems like a similar age to me and gives a real personal take on the weddings she showcases. I love how the site is so easy to navigate – the way you can filter the weddings by budget is genius! Not only that, but it features honeymoon and beauty advice as well as real weddings.
This is a wedding website classic! I had heard about this one even before I started planning my own big day. I expected it to be just quirky and unconventional weddings but there is actually a much bigger selection of content on there than I had thought. Attached to the blog, they have the Love Lust List, which has a huge range of suppliers recommended for your wedding. A useful directory to have a browse through for sure.
This is such a fun website to browse through. It’s got a simple and clean layout that isn’t overwhelmed by adverts and it showcases some of the coolest and most alternative weddings on the planet. I LOVE how it promotes individuality as what it says is so true – you can easily end up having the wedding other people want you to have, or the wedding everyone else is having. It’s strong-minded and opinionated. Fantastic.
This is another one I’ve only just stumbled across. It’s got a fun, bold style and divides its content across some interesting themes – included a page dedicated to the Mother of the Bride! It’s a little bit hipster, but it has some really cool ideas I’ve not seen on any other blogs and inspiration for honeymoons and anniversaries as well. The navigation could be a little simpler but don’t let that put you off.
So that’s my round up of my favourite wedding blogs out there at the moment. Are there any I’ve missed that you love? If so, share them below! I’d love to hear where you got inspiration for your wedding from.
