I am one of those people who would love to travel the entire world – one country after the next. I am super jealous of Gunnar Garfors, the youngest hobby traveller to visit every country in the world while holding down a full time job! Friday inspiration if I ever did hear it.
1. Top of the list (hello honeymoon!) – South Africa
I went on a safari when I was 13 with my parents in Kenya. It was absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to do it again for our honeymoon in 2016. If anyone has any South Africa tips, I am dying to hear them – please leave a comment below.
2. A very close second – Indonesia
I have heard so many great things about Indonesia – the beaches, the cities, the culture, the people – what’s not to love? Andrew and I have plans to hopefully go in 2017. Nothing like planning ahead!
3. South America
Not sure where, because all the countries within South and Central America sound fantastic. I almost disappeared off travelling there in 2010 but I got a job instead and haven’t had the opportunity since. Maybe Brazil to start?
4. British Virgin Islands
It looks like heaven. I want to know what a slice of heaven looks like. Just to kick back on a beautiful beach and pretend I’m in a perfume advert – doing nothing except reading, staring at the blue sky, swimming in the sea – utterly relaxed.
5. East Coast of Canada
I’ve been to the West Coast and it was AWESOME. Fantastic culture, loads going on, really laid back people, space to feel free and mountains, lakes, snow, sunshine and animals as far as the eye can see. Just check out the pictures I took when I was there to get an idea of quite how beautiful it is. I want to see if what the East Coast is like in comparison – what is the French influence like? Is Niagara Falls as magnificent as it looks on TV? Can it live up to my love of the West Coast?
If I had my way, there would be a lot more countries on this list – picking my top five was hard! Does anyone else have itchy feet? Unfulfilled wanderlust? What would be your top five?
