There seems to have been loads of chat this year about new year’s resolutions / goals / targets / mission / objective / ambitions / intentions – WHATEVER it is you want to call them – and how much they suck. Now I am all for setting myself goals. I think the key is to make them fun, make them manageable and give myself a deadline. And if I don’t achieve them then I look at what they have taught me instead. What have I learnt? Why did I fail? Then I take responsibility for it and move on.
